Is it possible to send one or two of those white Howea's to Holland?

I have something special with odd palms.

Another fun trip Troy. Thanks for sharing...needed a good thread here in our winter.

What really goes well with those palms is Mother Ocean in the background :D Great place Colin. The palms speak for themselves.

The Rhopalostylis sapida little barrier island

has grown a little in 9 years, had to get on roof to take some pictures, notice the crownshaft height against the top wall compared to it being below the lower wall in 2011.

Foxy lady has taken of , so has the Clinostigma savoryanum in front of it. to the left is Chambeyronia macrocarpa.

Bottle palm -one of the best around

Colin has one of the best collections of Chamaedorea and by the time i got around to his last one i had forgotten quite a few :unsure:post-1252-042476300 1297546343_thumb.jpg

The bottle palms have grown a bit, not bad in an area the struggle to survive and mostly die

Hi Colin, all the way from Puerto Rico!

I missed this topic the first time around as I was still working full time in Virginia, USA.

Now with rain and under COVID19 quarantine (and retired) I have time to dream about future travel.

Your house and garden are stunning! Thanks so much for the tour.

How about some pictures of Chamaerops humilis "volcano form" from the balcony garden, The 3rd picture one has been flowing,

Near Mt Etna in Sicily  I saw them flowering at only 40 cm tall !!

Hi Cindy.

Lots of gardening, potting up etc going on here, been enjoying catching up on the gardening.

Keep safe and well to you all

Troy Donovan (Tassie Troy) and I were the houseguests of Colin in March, 2015 for a four-day week-end.  Colin and his wife were the most generous and gracious hosts imaginable.

Also, Colin is responsible for most of the exotic palm introductions at the Royal Botanic Garden in Sydney, and the Wollongong (spelling?) garden as well.

Thank you again, Colin for all your tireless palm efforts !  :greenthumb:
