Hello everyone, These are some photos taken for the period December 2010 to February 2011 from my garden in Calcutta. The cold this time was not remarkable but persisted far longer than usual, causing a general slowdown in all plant growth. Nevertheless, some palms did grow a little:

This bottle has not only speeded up but gained some circumference as well. This one has been the object of an experiment where I would put in the discarded marigold flowers from morning prayers into the pot to decompose. Obviously it has had some effect.

10 deg C is COLD after months of strengh-sapping humidity and 30+ temperatures. Anything less than that sounds unbearable. I don't know how you americans live through sub-zero days but I salute you for that!
