Multiflora Enterprises does ship to FL, I bought some unusual plants and palms from them about 2 years ago.  There's a quarantine period and cost, and shipping is expensive...but it's hard to find some things here!

Buy Rhapis  multifidia ---- tis the same palm species ----Henderson couldnt differentiate and included them in synonymity.

Ah, now THAT is truly useful to me!  I bought a couple of big clumps of tall Humilis from PalmsOrl a couple of years ago, and struggled to decide if they are Humilis or Multifida.  Problem solved!  :D

Best time to buy ANY rare plant,is right when you have the opportunity. I've missed lots thinking "I'll get it on the way out" , and the plant has already sold...🤷‍♂️

I remember when I was getting one of my “flamethrower” palms. I had found one (hidden) that opened up an extremely bright red frond when I jostled it. As I was carrying it through the nursery, I noticed a lady following me, trying to look natural. It was obvious she was hoping I’d set it down (so she could snag it). 🔥 🛒
