Non-monocarpic Bromeliads

I know many, if not most, bromeliads are monocarpic, but some are not. For example, Dyckia and Hechtia are not. Those genera are supposedly more "primitive" broms. Is the same true for Orthophytum? What about intergeneric hybrids like Neophytum? Can someone list genera that are not monocarpic? Thanks for educating me.

Not many monocarpic spp. at all .

If it gets a pup then its not dead really .

Some big Tillandsia spp. like utriculata do not pup .

Most Alcantarea will pup after or before flowering .

Thanks, Michael. Maybe I misunderstood the concept of monocarpic. I was thinking of broms that flower and pup, yet the mother plant doesn't die away, which is the case with Dyckia. On the other hand, my Aechmeas and Neoregelias produce pups, then "waste away" when the offspring are large enough to grow independently.
