Any difference between as coronata and a hookeriana and if there is what is the difference?

I wasn't familiar with Pinanga hookeriana (which is a valid name), so I googled it. Can't find a single image, which is extremely unusual. This must be a pretty obscure Pinanga. Where did you hear about it? Or maybe you have a whole grove of them over there on Alapai Street? :rolleyes:

No extra palms yet, I came across the name on a plant tag and wanted to do some research and came up blank. Thought all the Palm sages might have an answer. Looks like I stumped the bandrolleyes.gif

Hi Charlie,any chance in posting a pic or 2? This Pinanga from India is VERY rare in cultivation, single stemmed and only growing to 1 mtr with leaves to 1.5 mtrs. love to see a pic. Pete

Charlie,Thanks for the reply, I too like Bo hadnt heard of this Pinanga, so looked it up, sounds pretty special hope you come across one. Charlie you are certainly in a great location for growing palms with an amazing climate and some Very clued up growers close by, all the best. Pete
