Breathtaking beautiful!!! Congratulations! Any problems in winter time?

Only some problems to fall asleep when wheatherman announce a cold wave on the country !

Fortunately that is quite rare. Temperature fall only once or twice a year under freeze, always slightly, during short times.

Thanks for sharing your interesting Mediterranean style garden. I like the variety of different plants you incorporate into it. And I don't see a "weed" anywhere. Next to impossible for me in my big garden - it's a constant battle here. You have done an amazing job creating that garden.

Hawaii Island (Big Island), leeward coast, 19 degrees N. latitude, south Kona mauka at approx. 380m (1,250 ft.) and about 1.6 km (1-mile) upslope from ocean.

No record of a hurricane passing over this island (yet!).

Summer maximum rainfall - variable averaging 900-1150mm (35-45") - Perfect drainage on black volcanic rocky soil.

Nice sunsets!

Wow! That's a lovely garden! I just visited your website and wanted to say that you've done a great job. both the website and your garden :)

Greetings from germany

P.S.: I've been to Hyères fouror five years ago. I have never seen so many palms before! they are planted in every street, on every round-about and everywhere else. I think the town planners are looking for every free spot in town to fill it up with palms :mrlooney: the south of france is very impressive with a very nice landscape! it is really worth a visit!

Very beautiful! Can you list the palm species you are growing?

Who did you buy them from? Crazypalmgarden?

And how did you bring the indonesian statue?

Very beautiful! Can you list the palm species you are growing?

Who did you buy them from? Crazypalmgarden?

And how did you bring the indonesian statue?

These are all the palm species grown in my garden.

Most of them have been planted very young, bought anywhere on the web, local nurseries or exhibitions.

The statue comes from Indonesia but was bought to a French importer.

Jean-Philippe, that is truly lovely and a masterful creation. What a talent you have for juxtaposing shapes, textures and color. You must be the envy of every gardener and landscaper in Cannes!

Surely one of the best palm gardens in europe if not the world.

If you have some advanced specimens of the newer introduced Trachcyarpus species I would like to see them also.

What a beautiful garden! You do have a good eye for placing plants and how they will coexist with others years later. I also would like to know on the size of your property, and the amount of rainfall you receive each year. Thanks,
