Saw the discussion of the Sabal palmetto variegated and hadn't recalled seeing the Huntington's nice variegated Chamaerops shown and discussed recently, though I have no doubt it has in the past. But just for fun, here it is again. They are calling it Chamaerops humilis 'Goldstripe'... no idea if that is a 'real' name or not.

few more shots... at first I thought that even the fruits were variegated, but I have seen normal Chamaerops with fruits in various stages of maturation (yellow NOT ripe and green getting ripe)

Beautiful variegated Chamaerops. That was an interesting thought, fruits variegated! Thanks for posting!

Very nice.

Often times the variegation will appear on just one side of a trunk. It also appears the inflorescence has both male and female flowers. I bet those seeds coming from the variegated section might come true with variegation.

Geoff please collect some seeds and try

Maybe the inflorescens produce hermaphrodite flowers , more easy to get variegated seedlings

Beautiful palm. Thanks for sharing
