Were those palms field grown and then transplanted into the pots, or were they grown in the pots?

Wimps....so far nobody has even take a guess at what mine is. How many palms from a very big genus have all those colours in the trunk ? Be brave take a chance, if you are wrong I won't gloat. (well maybe just a bit)

Peachy, I have a Veitchia filifera (formerly V. sessilifolia) that has a light brown trunk, but I would imagine that a V. filifera of your size would have a wider trunk. So my guess would be - Ptychosperma sp.

Please take it easy on me Peachy if I'm wrong

Hey, Jason. We actually just picked them up a couple weeks ago so I don't know for sure, but my understanding is that they were grown in those pots.

Also no. Archontos dont do well for me in general, very basic soil. Cunnunghmiana will grow best down here.
