The fact that you are close to Peter Tristam doesn't have anything to do with it, Pete? :D

Oooh you have all the ones I always think about buying but can never afford. Also you seem to know which ones can be tied to trees and which have to be planted. This is where I get muddled up every time. One of these days I am going to have to get right into learning more about them. Maybe after I have learnt everything there is to know about palms and cycads. :o Thanks for posting all the pretty photos.

Peachy, i really enjoy moving broms around in the gardens and putting them on logs and in trees, if they like the spot they will very quickly send roots to fasten themselves but need some fastening so they are secure, Broms at eye level are fantastic, Peachy the best way to learn is trial and error but less of the latter. Have a great weekend, were off to the beach. Pete

:D Ari, if i took these pics a few months ago when they were not getting enough sun, you would laugh.. Ari, the sun can turn $5 Broms into pure bliss. Grow em hard for great colour, i have said this on my Brom posts many times. Something else i remind myself of often is " Its not what you got, its how you grow it" and "position position position". MOST of my collection has come VERY cheaply, Royal presence for example was passed in at $7. on ebay, so i snapped it.. It was green when i got it, it sure looked like a $7 plant. Not now though. Happy Growing Ari. Pete :D ps heres a close up of Bill Groovy for you. also thers nothing more boring than walking through a shadehouse full of green broms

yeah.... I am planning too, Pete. Still working out the best place to have them. I am sure I have to move them all over again as the canopy grows... but I am happy with that. I don't like them in shadehouses... Slowly taking them out and moving them around :)

Peachy, the Aechmeas love to be in trees and they are VERY affordable, our local brom nursery sells most broms for 10 to $15 and they are BIG plants. SO many Brom enthusiasts here in Nth NSW that trade n swap or sell very cheaply, jump the border Peach :D ps do you like the Tiger ( bottom right nmbr 6 post)

Agree Pete I have Justins song in two different lights can't even tell there the same brom. Really like that royal presence and pitch black.
