Yes Bo, they are certainly a bit of an impact plant, the flower spike is still climbing. :) Pete

Ari, all my Alcantareas have been fast, give them some slow release plus fortnightly seasol. These being such Big Broms respond very well to a well prepared bed and regular feeding....Just like us :D

2 of my Aechmea blanchetiana are flowering.... This is the first time for me..... I can't wait till they open up...

Looks like only 5 blanchetianas coming into spike on Mt Papermache , the Alc. glaziouana is in full flower and nice and fragrant . The 2 Alc. Raymond Golden Brown are looking very impressive [ already put pollen onto the glazi' ]
