Cordyline manners-suttoniae is native to coastal NE Queensland, Australia where it grows in rainforest and swampy habitat. It can grow 10-15 ft tall.

It has grown well here. These plants our in the Bog Garden in wet, mucky soil.

These are lovely Cordylines.......their range actually is down to the central Coast of Queensland south of Gladstone. From your photo it looks like yours is growing in conditions similar to its natural habitat. Unlike some other Australian native Cordylines C. manners-suttoniae prefers a much more open position on the edges of the rainforest.

I have a form of this with white variegation through the foliage.......very attractive indeed.
