Pictures of my palms in South Florida

I wish I could grow these palms in St. Augustine but these palms are at a home I own in Palm Beach Gardens. I have a garden in St. Augustine as well. Unfortunately it is not as nice as the one in PBG. I will post a new thread on the St. Augustine palms soon. I have to get thru all of the PBG pictures first.

Rick

Rick, it's still impressive! I am not sure I could grow some of those species you have...

Great looking Kentiopsis, Dypsis, and the others you posted! It must be nice to have multiple properties for your collections.

Howea belmoreana - slow here. I keep them out of direct sunlight. This one is about 5 yrs from a one gallon.

Arenga Hookeriana - not in the ground yet but one of my favorites. I bought this a yr ago has a one gallon. Stepped it up and it has tripled in size. Time to repot again.

Dypsis plumosa - I bought this as dypsis ambositrae. I bet alot of us did.

Chambeyronia hookerii - I lost a 15 foot Hookerii planted in the same spot to a hurricane. The winds blew it right over. All you can do is replant.

Cat palm. These will grow in full sunlight if you give it enough water.

Attalea cohune - with and without me. I grew from seed I brought back from a trip to Belize. The leaves are already huge. The pot in front is a seven gallon trchycarpus princeps I am growing for St. Augustine.

That's it for now. Hopefully I will get the rest posted soon.
