Encephalartos woodii

Recommended Posts

Here is the opportunity for you cycad enthusiast to add the infamous woodii to your collection. If you are interested please contact me privately and I can give you more details about the plant other than the following...

This plant was removed about 8 months ago, it is a 5" offset, it has no leaves currently. I do not know if it has roots yet or not. As everyone knows these are difficult to root and takes time. I do not want to remove it from the pot it's in to check if there is roots unless I have a serious buyer, if it was me I would let it sit and do its deal.

Again message me privately thanks in advance

Rules are rules, if your interested you can contact me privately, some plants and some people like to remain anonymous along with a price. Everyone knows this is not a cheap plant and if it was me I would respectfully like to be kept under the radar sort of speak.

Thanks for your interest

Since you brought it up, I am actually not intrested in buying a high risk of dying Encephalartos woodii pup. I was intrested in knowing how much you could get for it since it hasn't been rooted out and flushed a few times. We all know that's what it takes to be a reasonable risk of buying such a rare and touchy pup! Not to mention expensive!

Just curious,

Randy

BTW under the radar is the internet?????????

You don't have to be interested in a high risk pup, I took the risk and so fare so good, like I said this is a opportunity for yourself or any others who may be imterested in also taking the risk, and of you would have contacted me privately like every other person I let them all know that it's a gamble.

Please serious inquires only.

Happy growings

I think he has been very upfront with people. These are very tough to root. My good friend bought one from him about two years ago and it died. That was an expensive loss. Personally I would never buy one until I confirmed roots and a flush.

Thanks Len,

I have lost one myself as well at the same time as the one you talk of died. It's a lot of money, take it to a casino buy a lotto ticket, but if it makes it you have yourself a awesome specimen

Len the plates are awesome. I think that what you have though are "cojones" since cajones would be drawers! (:
