Two years ago I bought a Cycad of which I don't know the species. Can anyone help? Judging by the caudex I would say a Zamia species, but the leaves resemble those of Dioon!

Wim, this is the wrong place for a cycad thread, but I'll go ahead and answer here. The overall impression of the plant is dioon-esque, but the presence of leaflet midribs confirm that it is a species of Cycas... but I could not say which species it is.

So far oké, Jody, but I thought I would ask on the palmforum, because most palmfriends are in Cycads too!

Wim,

That may very well be true but that doesn't mean we're going to have cycad discussions under "Discussing Palm Trees".

Looks like Cycas siamensis to me but if you have other pictures, it might help.
