Please join us at the SFPS Meeting this Monday, August 6, 7:30 pm at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden, 10901 Old Cutler Road. Tim McKernan will be our guest speaker and will give a presentation about using palms in your landscape.

Native Miamian Tim McKernan is a second generation landscape designer. His Father, Jack Kearns, was the ‘water feature’ pioneer for South Florida during the 70’s and ‘80’s and was also known for his unique Landscape design strategies. A chip off the old block, Tim founded and ran “Tropical Palm Gardens” for 10 years before deciding to go back to School and complete his Masters in Landscape Architecture. He was a previous SFPS Director and is now a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects.

There will be an info desk for questions before the meeting, and an auction of palms after the program.
