Beautifull palms!

Carambeí, 2nd tableland of the State Paraná , south Brazil.

Alt:1030m. Native palms: Queen, B. eriospatha, B. microspadix, Allagoptera leucocalyx , A.campestris, Geonoma schottiana, Trithrinax acanthocoma. Subtr. climate, some frosty nights. No dry season. August: driest month. Rain:1700mm

It must be very rewarding to grow these lovely palms from seed. If everyone planted even one tree in their entire lifetime I think that would make a difference. Since that's not likely to happen, some of us need to continue planting lots more than just one.

I have six of these planted in the garden, gifts from Kris, and they were started from seed. They're beautiful palms and, for me, slow growers. I can wait twelve years or so...(Wal, I had to get my glasses too.) David, yours are gorgeous.
