Palm Society of Southern California - 2013 Annual Banquet

Hello, everyone:

It's time again to sign up for the annual banquet.

On January 19, 2013, the Palm Society of Southern California will hold its annual banquet., at the Sherman Library and Gardens, at 2647 East Coast Highway, in Corona del Mar, CA 92625.

Cafe Jardin will host our annual event in a fantastic garden complex that includes a conservatory of tropical plants, a desert garden of rare cacti, plus collections of ferns, succulents, bromeliads and orchids.

The presentation will include pictures from the International Palm Society Biennial, in Thailand, among much else.

Lunch will include a gourmet salad, roasted chicken, a fettucini entree, and Creme Caramel for dessert. All coffee, tea and soft drinks are included, and a no-host bar is also available.

 The price is $45.00 per person.

Two ways to reserve your seat at the banquet.

The old-fashioned, traditional way:

Send your check (in U.S. funds only, please) payable to "PSSC" and mail to:

PSSC Banquet

PO Box 20

Mountain Center, CA 92561

The new, totally modern way is by PayPal, which you can access by going to the website and scrolling down to the banquet section, clicking on the link and following the instructions. http://palmssc.org/

And, yes PayPal works! I just signed up using it, so I don't get left out in the cold on banquet day. (That would be embarrassing . . . )

Shoot me a PM if you have a problem.

thanks, see you there and feast on palmy good fellowship

dave

I'VE BEEN ADVISED BY OUR BANQUET CHAIRPERSON TO USE THE FOLLOWING ADDRESS AND NOT THE POST OFFICE BOX IN THE PREVIOUS POST.

CORRECT ADDRESS:

You can still send it in the Thoroughly Modern Way, via paypal. (Then dance the Charleston . . . )

So, Who's coming to the banquet?

Spaces are filling up fast, though there's usually some room at the door.

Hey Steve, look for me. I will be wearing something with Nebraska on it, no doubt. It would be great to put a face with the name.
