Viable Seed?

My watermelon Chambeyronia has more than 8 ft of clear trunk & still hasn't produced any viable seed. It's been trying for a few years, but the inflorescence eventually just dries up. Any ideas?

There's nothing you can do that I know of, maybe short of hand pollinating it. But give it time and patience, it will eventually set seed. Mine do on a regular basis now.
