Systemic fungicides. Which ones are safe for palms?

Alberto

Recommended Posts

I need to use a Systemic fungicide on my palms and I´d like to know if " Priori Xtra" that I have here at home( groups Azoxystrobin: strobilurin; cyproconazole: Triazol) is a safe choice to use on palms. Are this components not phytotoxic for palms? Which one is (are) the best systemic fungicide(s) for palms
Thanks!

...hello Alberto.

I live in a small island, the sea infuence makes nearly every day, water particles float in the air at evening / night ...
all palms are soaked in water, and add that as I am spraying against RPW and Paysandisia, are continually wet palms
occasionally add fosetyl-al in the mix and I don´t have fungus problems...

I use the same solution (Clor + Di) plus Imidacloprid, plus adherent but I think adherent increases the possibility of a fungal disease as side effect. Did you mean that you have never tried to mix fosetyl with imidacloprid or that mixing is not recommended, because it is already known to be harmful to plants?

LOL! ..., forgets to mention the adherent...0.1 %
... First here come the paysandisia, there I began to apply CLOR+DIM, added fosetil to the mixture for fungus problems and it works OK.(Preventive way)

I am rotating the products that I apply against the paysandisia and the RPW.
... If I see algun specific problem I apply fosetil only and to this alone palm.
