Now its interesting, however... Knowing that these palms are prob 10-20ft and they wouldn't fit in a truck up and down, but front to back you would be paying for the entire trailer, how many palms can you put on a trailer??? Also these palms will be going through the mid west which is still very cold. But caught my interest maybe worth a shot.. I'm sure everyone here would want something!

I can move them in enclosed 28 ft pup trailers. 5 day trait from fl to so cal. Would imagine if loaded properly a lot of palms coid fit. Keep the brainstorming going as I will buy a few pals as well. Mike

I am pretty sure the bigger hurdle is to get the right paperwork on both ends of the journey or risk losing the content at the California stateline.

Can we buy these and import them easier from an arizona nursery? Hint hint?

I think so, too.

Even in California it can be tough. Ag quarantines can be a [expletive].

From what I understand it is all about crossing into California regardless of where the nursery is. The plants need to be California certfied.

Great point Jody. It's not as easy as you Cali guys think. Especially palms dug from a south florida field. Getting around the nematode issue is pretty great. If it was that easy, everyone would be doing it. Phil Bergman would be someone to ask.

You cant go wrong, the best deal in (or outta town) ever. A couple of weeks ago picked up 2 carpoxylon 10' plus,1 old cocothrinax,2 chambeyronia10' plus, and a free 12'dictosperma, and best of all full sun grown so no need to aclimate plant away and no acclimation or burn.
