I got this palm from John Bishock many years ago. It gets alot of shade so the petioles are elongated. Any ideas what it may be? There is a huge Royal towering over it. It gets the crap beat out of it from the massive falling fronds.

Looks like it has some C. hospita in it but I don't know for sure if it is pure C. hospita or a hybrid.

Ron, is it just yellow at night or is it in need of some nutrients? Some of these hybrids display what I have heard of as 'hybrid decline'--basically the opposite of hybrid vigor... Jody is spot on with the hospita tag--there is at least some in it... I would give it more light, if possible.
