Sorry, not enough pics, will take more 2morrow, if its not still raining heavily :)

This is similar to Toko but the leaflets are much much thinner and the new leaf opens green not cream, pink or copper like Toko...also....the petioles and new spear are not round...they are flat..very unlike Toko.. The petioles are very long..2mtrs of a 4mtr leaf.

Who else has this Dypsis and what do you know it as ? Pete :)

Coz I love posting pics and sharing heres what my post 1 Dypsis looked like when young...Guess what these Dypsis are and from a reliable source, now I will add some have grouped leaflets and some normal pinnate when small... Bill Austin, you have posted some of yours that where different when small as well :) Pete

Yes Steve they are Archos, there are 1000s of sprouts all together in sections of the gardens, they pop up everywhere.

Not sure actually Rich, I only just viewed the link to the thread re Oreo, could well be?,its a Dypsis after all,and stages are still early.. I bought the small plants post 4 as Malcomberi though and noticed that Bill Austin has the same looking small palms which some when young have grouped leaflets others orderly also bought as Malcomberi. :)

I have no idea what your palm is but oros do start out regular. It is clear from Olivier's pics that there is a great deal of variation in this species, surprise surprise!
