Does anybody have true Salacca magnifica seeds or plants available for purchase? I've seen plenty of Salacca zalacca, or what people can't claim to be true S. magnifica. I'm looking for the real thing. This is a palm that I can grow in Key West and I know of several collectors who would love to have this palm as well. Thanks for your consideration. You can send me a direct email at odonnelsorganicgardening@yahoo.com

When I visited several years ago, there was a large one at this nursery that had just been sold. I don't know if they have any now but here's the link http://www.rarepalm.com/inventory.html Good Luck!

I appreciate the lead, but I know for sure that Steve does not have any S. magnifica, only S. zalacca. Thanks again though.

Tim,

To my knowledge, there are no existing plants here in south Florida now. At least one for sale anywhere. They have been sold OR, some of the last remaining few were lost a couple of years ago due to the severe cold we all had.
