Slow News Day: Fusarium on Phoenix canariensis on San Francisco's Embarcadero

The SF Chronicle ran a story today about the demise of many CIDPs on the Embarcadero here in San Francisco, and then local news (KTVU Channel 2, for those in the Bay Area) got in touch with me here at Flora Grubb Gardens for a comment. It's airing during the 5pm PDT newscast today, May 16, 2013.

I did a mini blog post about it.

Arrghh, I saw the comments, what a bunch of idiots, "palms belong in LA", typical Norcal thinking. Why don't these people just move to Alaska, they'll be safe from palms there.

Sorry, I can't watch 7 minutes of commercials just to see 3 minutes of news, KTVU is horrible when it comes to ads. I tried to watch but jumped off after the 5th ad. Who watches commercial TV anymore?
