Here's an update +/- 6 months later - IT POPPED!

What a beautiful flower , it's amazing I have 30ft plus S. botryophora's that havnt flowered yet...

Nice! Someone on the Forum told me a while back that the seeds of this species are edible. Yours might not seed this first time around but maybe soon you'll have some to try.
