This has been a great grower for me. The only palms faster than Hyophorbe indica are kings and queens. I always buy the red form. Yellows a little in the winter. Here it is flowering for the first time. Four flowers and the dead one opened in the middle of this winter.

Hyphorbe indica is my favorite of the Hyphorbes, like the simple arrangment of the rachis and the smooth trunk. Love the white white flower with the red cannas!
