Thanks for the heads up, will pm you.

Erik, I want to try one too! What's the best way for you for me to pay? While we are at it, what else do you have that has a fair chance of making it up here if I protect under 20 degrees?

Posted

I will get you one. You can pay by check or paypal. Just remember these are grown in Florida in full sun so give them ample time to acclimate. If you plan on protecting why not give a Mule palm a try. Or how about 3 gallon needle palms those should do well for you.

If you have them in full sun down there, I think they will be fine up here in full sun. At this point in summer, I don't think that there is much difference in sun strength-sure isn't in the temps! But I will just give it am sun and 1-2 hrs of afternoon sun for a few days. Lets do a Mule palm as well. Will pm you to find out details for payment

I already have a few Needles-they love it here, a very tough palm. Never covered them and the one in full sun is over 8' and very full. What about an Arenga? I have been thinking about trying them for awhile now

I do not have the Arenga. I will ask around for you.
