the seeds were sold as curiosities for a long time,i don't think many ever got planted.

Saw that palm last week, complete with flight holes of palm weevils! The staff are not too concerned and think they can handle it but I'd be having kittens.

thanks for the photos Philippe. here is a photo of the same palms (different angle) from when I was there back in October 2010. Looks like they have put on a good 3 or 4 fronds...

I'd be laying down some bricks. Do they not realize the danger? Or are they truly equipped to address the issue?
