Bismarckia nobilis seeds

I ordered some of these seeds. I also collected some from a Silver Bismarckia nobilis down here in Key West.

These don't look much like the ones I ordered? The ones I found are more pointed and many of them are completely flat on one side. Can't find anything online to answer this. Anyone know why they are different?

Here are the ones I purchased

I know where the palm is so next time I'm out I will get a photo. Should be able to get a shot of it today.

The seeds you ordered and received are correct for Bismarckia. The seeds you collected are Latania sp,the typical Latania ornamentations are visible on the seed if you look hard in some of the photos.
