Orlando airport indoor palms

Orlando MCO has some pretty good containerized palms. I only took one quick photo. I didn't take a close look at them, but I think they are solitaire palms (Ptychosperma elegans)

I'll be passing through MIA in about 5 weeks. Anything there I can look out for?

I've always really loved the whole indoor gardens with tall palms or lots of overflowing greens

I have been to OIA many times and I am pretty sure the palms featured in the first pick are adonidia/veitchia. There are/were also some nice large Cocos there for a long time. Not sure if any remain or not?

There are some large fruiting Adonidia at OIA outside by the parking garage. They have survived for almost 20 years now.

There were still a couple Cocos inside last year. I've been using Sanford Orlando Intl, so much easier than the hassle at OIA. There are even Adonidia outside at Sanford.

The space between the main terminal and the parking garages at Orlando airport is pretty sheltered, and along with the Adonidias, has some other plants that you wouldn't quite expect in Orlando. A nice intro to Florida for travelers waiting for the shuttle bus.

Central Orlando's urban heat island may be warmer than us

I think they are too tall to be Christmas palms (adonidia). If they are not Solitaire (Ptchosperma), then maybe they are Carpentaria. They didn't look too much like Veitchia. But, I could be wrong. next time I'm there I'll take a closer look and photo. I'm also not sure if it is legal to take photos since it is a high security area. i was in line for the security checkpoint. So, that is reason for quick photo.
