Meg, Scott,

Thank you very much for your quick replies!

So, no time to waste, I am going to find a nice spot for it soon.

Best regards -

I don’t know if I’m more impressed by the palm tree, aloe being grown as a hedge, or that big cactus right against the house!!

Bismarckia are awesome. How is it handling the fruit? Is it a heavy producer?

That's a Pseudophoenix by the front window? Nice to have some slow growers, too. What is the small fan palm close to the door?

The large female Bismarck doesn't produce fruit unless I manually pollinate it. I have in the past, and have more seedlings than I know what to do with.

The smaller tree hasn't flowered yet,so don't know if M/F. No other Bismarck's around for miles.

Pseudophoenix sargentii in front window, and a potted red latania by the front door.:shaka-2:

So I went out and bought a Bismarck a couple of days ago.  It hasn’t gone in the ground yet.  Going through your timeline of growth I’m now starting to get cold feet 😂.   I was tempted to plant about 15ft away from my 6ft Mule palm since that’s the spot that might be the most showy  but now not so sure.  Also concerned about my neighbors complaining about messing up their Mountain View’s once it grows over 10ft or so.
Thanks for the pictures and timeline.  They definitely give us newbies an idea what to expect!
