I wish my Dypsis 'pink crown' held that much color.  From what I've seen low humidity tends to makes palms much less colorful.

Hey Matt, how well is your Dypsis 'pink crownshaft' growing?  Anyone else have experiences with it in so cal?

Does this count?

Its the stem of my indoor D.lutescens.

Its kinda golden in colour, but that means that that frond is next to shed.

The dots are purplish with a blue/grey blue bloom-photos dont do justice.

I've got one in a 5 gallon container and it's done well so far this winter.

Dave,

My pink crown has done fine.  It grows noticeably through the winter and opens leaves in winter.  I'm still waiting to see how robust it will get and how many leaves it will hold since I planted it into a pretty bright spot not 18 months ago.  It's still looking better and better.

Hi Jeff

Great photos looks like you guys did not see much of that cold as your palms look perfect.

Have you looked at all your Dypsis Pambana there seems to be two colors forms check the crown shaft of this sp the dark one really looks good and holds the colour even in full sun there only seems to be about 5% that hold this dark colour?

Also if you have a bag of concrete that has gone hard try putting a large piece in the mix of your Dransfieldia micrantha this will improve the colour ten fold! It should give your C.renda’s a run for the best colour. :)

Ps. they always joke here in Australia that some mixes fell like concrete but this works on a few species that love Lime, then you can say you use concrete in your mix!! most will think your joking but your palm will love it also this sp is best in the tropics its on the boarder line here in the subtropics. Hope this helps.

Ps Jeff let me know if you would like to see these and I will try to take some photos of the two different colored forms, but I would say you have both forms there. ???

Here is a nice photo showing contrasting colors of Joey magnifica

Jeff, do you have an inventory or pricing list? Just curious what you have and what your are selling. I looked on your site and did not see one.

Len,

I don't have any inventory numbers available. It's all in the head. ???  But yes, I do have a price sheet that I can fax over to you or put in the mail.

Jeff

You have some nice stuff. Can you fax the price list to 760-477-1111? Thanks!
