we are now into OCT and its been a bone dry summer - not one drop of rain in many months

and no rain in forcast for the next 10 days.

Hate to be a doomsayer, but as the climate keeps changing this is going to become a yearly issue. There really will be a "fire season" which in turn is going to be followed by "mudslide season".
