"REEF MAGIC" for a day :)

Cassandra and I recently visited part of the Great Barrier Reef with Reef Magic which takes you to a great area of the Outer GBR which is well known for the beautiful very large Maori wrasse, many other fish and pristine reef. Of all the reef trips we have done this is our favourite , great crew, great food, a great day and of course "very relaxing".

Under water and Heli shots where taken by "Reef Magic" on the day which for a small price they sell to happy day trippers. Pete and Cassandra :)

:) 5 times I tried to post pics and it wouldn't let us. this is "why" so many pics are showing a few times, Im not going to "try n delete" as I don't want to "reload" again and again :)

Bravo Pete, thx for sharing!

Indeed relaxing after all PT PM mess lol!

:greenthumb:

Thanks Ante, heres a few more of what we saw on the day, pics taken by "Reef Magic" crew, snorkelling and seeing this is much more relaxing than trying to take underwater snaps, great to be able to buy the pics after the fun day though. :)

Reef Magic is an appropriate name. Great photos! I am always a bit disappointed when our favorite snorkeling spot in Puerto Rico is good for surfing but too dangerous for me. Truly another world.

That tridacna pic is excellent! Looks like fun.

Cindy, a pleasure to share.

Carver, the clams ( tridacna) and reef had lots of colour to show thanks to the very sunny day we where there.

Pete :)

Great photos Pete, which reef did you visit...........some of the commonly visited reefs in the Cairns zone are not in great condition but that area looks superb....... Having dived the length of the reef I still maintain that the southern end of the reef (Heron Island, Lady Musgrave and Lady Elliot Islands) is the most pristine part of the Great Barrier Reef.

Thanks Andrew, George, Redant n Steve, we had a fun day glad to share.

Andrew, the pontoon is anchored at Moore reef 90 minutes steaming from Cairns in a quick cat which the great below pic from Reef Magic shows. Pete :)

Oh righto, I went to Moore Reef a few times whilst I was living in Cairns, one of those reefs that isn't always good but on a good day is superb.

Thanks for sharing...the GBR is stil on my bucket list.

The weight of lies will bring you down / And follow you to every town / Cause nothin happens here

That doesn't happen there / So when you run make sure you run / To something and not away from

Cause lies don't need an aero plane / To chase you anywhere

Maybe for you Grant but for me I am a warm blooded beast...............I still wear wetsuits when I am diving on the reef......too cold for this little black duck
