Hi PalmTalkers,

I picked up this guy the other day, sold without a I.D tag.

I'm thinking Copernicia Alba or Prunifera, I would of thought Prunifera would have had more of a waxy silver look to it?

Are you sure it's copernicia? Looks very similar to livistona carinensis.

Wow, I think you might be on to something, I had a look on Palmpedia and found this picture, this is exactly what the base and armour along the petioles looks like. For Perth this is quite an unusual find.

Doesn't look like either alba or Prunifera to me. Leaves are way to solid. I agree that it's livistona
