Came upon a shrub covered in these vibrantly colored blooms during my morning walk. The plant was so vigorous and healthy, I was impressed. Any clue about the named variety?

Depending on the eye, it could be Sun Showers. I can't tell if the eye is pink and has white parts radiating out from the center or not. The yellow splotches vary depending on temps. I don't have Sun Showers so I'm not super familiar with all its variations. :)

Matt, this is in San Diego. No white fly on this one, and so many really big, vivid flowers, much brighter than the photo shows.

Angela, I'm comparing online pics of Sun Showers with this, and it's a definite 'maybe'. Seems like a very good guess. I'll have to take another look. It's so bright it could glow in the dark.

Another possibility could be "Audrey." I've seen it in Waikoloa but not sure how it would end up in SD. It's originally from Austalia!
