I got some seeds of this palm in 2013. Only 4 germinated, 2 are left. As they were remote germinators I placed them in 14" treepots and let them do their thing on my lanai. Does anyone else grow any of the Oranias? Experiences with them? Do I stand a chance with these or are they too tropical?

BTW, leaves are not turning yellow. The light areas are late afternoon sun reflection.

Meg, I had an Orania in a pot, just in the open carport and it was quite happy for about 3 years, until I planted it, then naturally after a great deal of effort digging, it promptly croaked. I think my climate is similar to yours, so best of luck with them.
