Sorry, i don't know what this could be. This photo was taken at Nong Nooch garden. I's a cespituous palm, all those 5 stems are from the same specimen ...

Wonderful articles and pictures!

I wish one day Sri Lanka (65'610 km2 and more than 20,4 millions inhabitants) can create an Srilankan-Palm-Society and be palmy dynamic the way la Réunion (with 835'000 inhabitants on 2'512 km2) seems to be.

I am especially impressed by the "Parc des Palmiers". congratulations!

Finding such a "Parc des Palmiers" in every tropical country or island would be a dream for palm-addicts. :)

Oliver,

This journal is excellent! I don't read French, but can clearly see it's a journal full of good articles and lots of great pictures. If only it were printed in English, your membership would be 100 x's bigger! I know I would be a member! Thanks for sharing!

I dont know what I want more.....that drop dead divine palm or a few of those fake flamingos. I am sure there were a couple of those palms in the movie Avatar, if you look closely. I always miss the last half of that movie because when the grey haired bastard starts burning the wonderful forest, I burst into tears and cant stop. Note to Mr Searle, stop teasing people you naughty thing, everyone can read french.

I came. I saw. I purchased
