The Crepe Myrtle is a staple planting in the U.S. Southeast. Of the many colors and sizes, Dynamite is one of the most brilliant. Delighted to see ours reaching flowering age.

Thats a very pretty one Keith. I am not game to plant a crepe myrtle here, as much as I admire them, they do grow into big trees very rapidly in this climate

Nice. We have quite a few crepes but I don't think this one. The flowers are lovely all season long - colorful relief from all my green palms.

Crape myrtle or crepe myrtle, both are correct for Lagerstroemia

I have never seen it spelled Crape here in da sout. Did a web search and sure enough some spell crape. For me, I'll go with signature magazine, Southern Living, and keep spelling crepe. And I will eat a crepe too.

Nice color. Much better IMO than my inlaw's pink and white ones lining their driveway.
