Thanks! I'm pretty sure I'm over 500 (new) plants since I moved here in early 2011. I've had about 90-95% survival rate, which is crazy given that there are no sprinklers and I'm frequently off-island.

FYI, whilst palms do grow incredibly here, the bamboo is on a completely different level. I've never seen anything like it.

Thank you - are you referring to this one? [There are close to 10 in different places around the lot]

Looking good! :36_14_15[1]::greenthumb: :greenthumb: :greenthumb:

Now that your collection is increasing exponentially, I wonder how you keep track of what is planted where?

I realized I would invariably start forgetting things, so I have a database with names, locations, planting size, source, etc. I've planted over 500 plants now.

3 acres now. I'm now "boxed in," unless I want to acquire the lots behind me, but that would be logistically very difficult to tie-in to my current lots, since the lots are so narrow and deep. Having back to back lots would mean 100 feet wide by 870 feet deep.

As it is, I have 3 side by side lots, so mine is 300 feet wide by 435 feet deep, a pretty good shape.
