There are about 5 Trithrinax brasiliensis planted near each other at the Huntington that have always looked the picture of health… but last week when I visited, at least three of these had severely bent crowns and looked like they may be on the way way out… 3 at one time seems very coincidental. Never seen one of these leaning before.

Did you bring it to the attention of the palm-keepers? Application of micronutrients -- most importantly, boron -- could correct the problem if it is not too late. Unless of course it is fungus?
