Allagoptera arenaria; Restinga palm - in ground today, got these two palms from Charlene, and I really am a lucky guy, cause' they're hard to find, and no one grows nicer, healthier, more robust palms than Charlene, Ed

Mine does not sucker. From two exempleries one GOT SPLIT in to two plants many years ago, the other remains still solitary after more than a decade in the ground.

Hi Josh, the palm is rhizomatous, so the new shoots from the runners, can not be removed, at least until each new shoot is a grown palm (or nearly), or so, this is what I'm to understand, they are also given to aerial (dichotomous) branching (occasionally), I bought two, because I was able to, and I will eat ever piece of fruit I can, to suppliment my diet,  Ed
