how long it take to Dypsis lutescens planted in pots (5 gallon and 10gallon) to trunking 

thinking  about plating in pots first time. we have lots of fruits,i think about giving pot growing young plants to others

are these your Dypsis lutescens? so beautiful! 

In srilankan climate, and from my experience down south, I would say:  2 years.

I saw that very quickly they become too big for those (like me earlier) who believed they'll stay as foreground plants.
