What a beautiful cycad! I have a small one that gets attacked often by beetles so it rarely looks good.

El Oasis - beach garden, distinct wet/dry season ,year round 20-38c

Las Heliconias - jungle garden ,800m elevation,150+ inches rainfall, year round 15-28c

Your showing us two species of cycads. The second group is Zamia roezlii, but your first group of pictures are not. And the new emerging red leaf is also Z. roezlii.

First picture with the coconuts, looks like a Cycas species. The next two pictures look like Encephalartos hildebrandtii. I have two little roezlii--love the plicate Zamia!

It would be impossible to tell from this picture. Try to find a good "cycad" collector in your area to help with an ID. Don't let people guess and throw names at it. Especially ones that have no knowledge on cycad species. Good luck.
