Hi guys,

Is anyone familiar with this Big old cycad in the 'Gong gardens.

I looked and I could not see a sign.

Just curiosity to know the name, is it familiar?  No I did not take all of those seeds. :)

It is near the new palm section that Colin Wilson has just stocked and opened.

Cheers Steve

It is not dead, it is just senescence.

One of my favorite cycads, Lepidozamia peroffskyana. Incredible and well timed photo of a female cone falling apart.

Thanks Ryan, I have a very small one - 2 leaves, I had no idea that it will eventually get so big.

Cheers Steve
