I have three with 4-5 feet of trunk and they show no sign of color, just green....

El Oasis - beach garden, distinct wet/dry season ,year round 20-38c

Las Heliconias - jungle garden ,800m elevation,150+ inches rainfall, year round 15-28c

Carpentaria acuminata seeds

I love these palms. They are carefree in my beach garden and I really enjoy this blast of color.

You are probably correct. I already had my doubts the bigger it got. It was labeled as bottle when I bought it

as a seedling at our local depot - but it wouldn't be the first time that a young plant was wrongly labeled...

Yes a repost of a plant, but a new shot.  Lot's of orange exposed when the leaf base came off my Dypsis prestoniana.

Leaf sheath came off of one of my smaller Dictyocarum the other day, and I could't resist a photo.

Second pic is an Iguanura wallichiana var. major.
