Need help with these

What do you think the problem is with these king palms in Southern California?  The leaves just recently started to curl underneath and then turn brown and really crispy.

Is it due to the recent colder weather, salts in soil?

Over watering? The soil isn't extremely moist around trees.

I fertilize regularly so don't think it's lack of food.

Any ideas are appreciated?

if that is the case why were they fine all summer in the hot months with the same amount of water? Just started happening when the seasons changed and the temps dropped.

Did everyone notice that in the first and third photo, the right half of the frond is necrotic, but the left half is normal. Remind me -- what is the name of the disease which causes this in queen palms? I didn't think king palms were susceptible to this condition though, so I suppose I am just raising the question for discussion purposes.

Are you referring to fusarium wilt? I thought maybe but is only happening on the outer part of the leaves, not on petiole of the leaf. And when i cut into the petiole i don't see any fungal infection.

Hi,  we live in Laguna Niguel, CA and have a number of queen and king palms.  One King has stopped growing, no new spike or leaves are being produced.  I’ve tried soaking and fertilizing - no change.  This palm is surrounded by artificial turf.  Any ideas?
