Floods in the are man made.

Maybe an off topic here.  but people should know that the current floods in Europe are manmade. Farmers have destroyed the upland moors and vegetation because they want dry land. As a result villages and cities downstream get flooded! And the drainage was even subsidized by taxmoney! A bloody shame!
 And destruction of upland native vegetation by man is also a problem in other parts of the World. Where upland native vegetation gets destroyed by man, sooner or later there is a price to pay...

Modern man because of his greed and short sightedness has destroyed so much of this once beautiful healthy Earth.  Look at what has been done to the Mississippi Delta on the southern Louisiana coastline.  It has shrunk by massive proportions in the last few decades, all because of ignorant and arrogant pro business practices of mankind!
