A recent topic regarding why the general public reject palms for their gardens prompted me to post this topic...

Whilst on my christmas break I was checking out some of the local properties and was happy to see that palms still featured in the landscaping of some of the more expensive houses..

These ranged from CIDPs to Foxtails and a few other common species...not too much interest as far as desirable palms go, but at least they are being incorporated into these million dollar designs...

Here's a few examples, taken on a really windy day so not at their best... :)

 

Coconut palms with the curves in the right direction...

This is the aesthetic I gravitate towards...Now if I could just convince my neighbors to do the same!
