This Coccothrinax seeded for the first time but I lost its tag and need help IDing it. I think I bought at one of Jeff Searle's sales in 2008/09 so I hope he reads this post and can help me out. I posted some photos below.

C. barbadensis has an orange hastula on top of the frond .Can you take a pic of the top of the frond? Maybe that will help

You Florida guys know coccos better than me I'm sure but does the thatch not look like fragrans?

Not particularly. The orange hastula is also no indication of any direct species. Fact is, most Coccothrinax experts can pick out the obvious ones, but complexes are the best I have heard some of these palms have for placement... Barbadensis complex(proctorii, litoralis, argentea, barbadensis), azul complex(azul, camagueyensis, macroglossa). Wish we had a fresh revision on the genus, and a new book(there is no old book).
